Teri Hofford has spent the last decade encouraging folks to challenge their biases and beliefs around bodies so that they can move closer to self and body acceptance. Part of her mission focuses on revolutionizing the photography industry by breaking down beauty standards and creating a more accessible approach to being photographed. She believes everyone deserves to have their life story documented. She's the author of three books: The Geode Theory: Chipping Away at Body Image; 2200 Characters or Less; and Homecoming: Tales of Travel, Discovery & Self Acceptance, all with a focus on a deconstruction of shame and a reconstruction of self. She also hosts Body Image Bootcamp, a series of retreats that teach attendees about the ins and outs of body image so they can change their lives and the lives of people in their communities.
