MORROW's founding chairman Liu Thai Ker is widely recognized as the "architect of modern Singapore" for his extensive contributions to the country’s housing and urban landscape.

Why you should listen

Dr. Liu Thai Ker spent 24 years in Singapore's public service, serving as the chief architect and chief executive of the Housing Development Board, where he oversaw the development of 25 new towns and over half a million housing units. He also served as Singapore's chief planner and chief executive of the Urban Redevelopment Authority, where he led the agency in developing the 1991 Concept Master Plan, which till this day forms the backbone of Singapore's urbanization roadmap.
