Ian Bassin is a lawyer, writer, organizer and activist who received a MacArthur “Genius” Award for his work leading the nonpartisan anti-authoritarianism group Protect Democracy. Through litigation, legislative advocacy, strategic communications, technology, research and analysis, Protect Democracy helps American institutions stand up for democracy and strengthen it for the future.
