TEDxRushU Presents 'Mind Over Matter' - May 17
Join us for our second annual Independent TED event, Mind Over Matter, on Saturday, May 17th 2014, 1pm-5pm, at the Brainard Room of the Searle Conference Center at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, IL. TEDxRushU is a nonprofit that welcomes people from different disciplines and cultures to share powerful ideas within our community. Through a combination of live speakers, performances and TEDtalk videos emphasizing finding the inspiration to empower oneself and others, Mind Over Matter brings forward the TED mission of spreading ideas to change attitudes, lives, and the world.
TEDxRushU has been inspired by the memory of Mayur Patel, a Health SystemsManagement faculty member and alumnus at Rush University, who diedunexpectedly in 2011. Mayur was loved and respected by those who had the honorof working with him and his passion for improving the environment and healthcare on a global level serves as inspiration for our events.
