Theme: Amazing People, Crazy Places

Through our experience so far, we've seen many people who are skilled in specialised areas, who find themselves in places they never thought they'd be. These changemakers add great value, in some ways because the area where they find themself in now had a shortage of their skill. Through adding their insight as an outsider, they inadvertantly break across boundaries and allow something new to emerge. So we wanted to focus this year's event on incredible people with valuable skills who found themselves in unusual places, and the ideas and inspiration that spring from this.
