The day focused on community building from both a social capital and economic development point of view. While many examples were about Greensboro, we tried to make the talks relevant to the development of any community. A particular success was the "imagine when..." exercise that occurred during the breaks and at lunch. We also held a reception the evening before to give participants a chance to meet and mingle.
