In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Amy is actively involved in community service projects, always seeking ways to support and uplift those around her.

Danna Sanchez Torres

Danna Sanchez Torres is a 9th-grade visual artist at OCSA. She’s always been fascinated by people and the way we work on all levels. A film nerd and a yapper, she loves to delve into and talk about any and all topics.

Kaylin Hansraj

Kaylin Hansraj is an 8th grader at OSCA who majors in Drama. She enjoys writing and singing whenever she can. She also loves learning and taking in new information, and one day she hopes to be a forensic psychologist as well as an actor.

Mariam Neri

Mariam is a 12th-grade band major at Osceola County School for the Arts with a passion for law, specifically Political Science. She strives to excel in academia and conduct research on distinct behaviors regarding social media and the brain's cognitive functions.

Mirelys Fleites

Mirelys is a 14-year-old girl who strives to be a lawyer when she’s older. She goes to OCSA (Osceola County School for the Arts) and is a creative writer. She likes to discuss issues and address them with her friends, drawing her into the Speech and Debate club.

Samuel Murillo-Hernandez

Samuel Murillo-Hernandez is an 8th-grade creative writing major at OCSA. In his free time, he likes staring out of the window dramatically, learning about things that couldn’t possibly be useful to him, and riding rollercoasters. One day, he hopes to become a congressman and help the people of his community.
