In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Maeve Noble

Student, Mario-Kart enthusiast, Matcha lover
Maeve has been deeply curious since she was young. From having an obsession with dinosaurs and the solar system, to now being interested in modern politics and civic education. She is a junior at Stoneleigh-Burnham, and she has made it her mission to leave the world a little better than she found it. Her talk is centered around how social media can be a tool for togetherness in a time of division. When she isn’t studying or researching whatever random topic she's interested in that week, you can find her playing Mario Kart, watching Formula One, or drinking a nice cup of Matcha.
