PhD • TeachKloud • Keynote Speaker • Early Childhood Education & Care
“I’ll Google it” is probably my most used phrase and I’ve always believed that a quality early education transforms lives. My greatest example of this is from my grandfathers story. He grew up in abject poverty but through the power of a quality early education went on to become a Supreme Court judge. His story led me to conduct research on quality in early childhood education.
During my PhD, I found that early childhood teachers were overworked, struggling to meet the needs of diverse families, run profitable businesses and comply with demanding regulations. All of this resulted in less time supporting children in reaching their full potential.
I didn’t just want to write about the issues teachers faced, I wanted to do something about it...
At TeachKloud, we help keep children safe in early childhood services, improve the quality of teaching and compliance with regulations.
