TEDxHeritageGirlsSchool is an independently organized TED event. This is our 7th edition of TEDx, the last 6 editions 2017, 2018 were in the name TEDxYouth@HGS and as TEDxHeritageGirlsSchool in 2019 and 2021, 2022, 2023. TEDxHeritageGirlsSchool is a half-day event being curated by the students of Heritage Girls School, Udaipur, Rajasthan. Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and provoke conversations that matter.

The Head Of The Department Of General Surgery at AIIMS Udaipur

Dr. (Lt. Col) Sangeeta Tiwari is a dedicated surgeon and retired officer of the Indian Army Medical Corps (AMC) , with a stellar experience of 14 years in these fields. Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional duties as she mentors young medical professionals and promotes public health awareness. Her achievements include: Selected and ranked 13th among top the top 30 power women in a prestigious special edition magazine. Selected to be featured in WOMB, a high profile documentary produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, celebrating stories of extraordinary women. She had the privilege of meeting the Prime Minister of India in her tenure as the first secretary of the India-Tajik relations through healthcare diplomacy and collaboration, playing a key role in it.

Dr. Drishty Chhabra

Doctor | Co-Founder of a skincare brand

Dr. Drishty Chhabra is a qualified MBBS with advanced specializations in Trichology and Cosmetology from DJPIMAC and Gold Coast Training Academy, Australia. With a deep understanding of human psychology, she transcends traditional skincare, helping individuals achieve confidence and empowerment through holistic beauty. She also holds a world record in scalp micro-pigmentation, having completed treatments for 100 individuals in just 72 hours. Through her impactful seminars and workshops, she offers insights into elevating self-care and self-esteem. A community leader, Dr. Drishty was honored as the Brand Ambassador of the WEAA India Awards 2021 for Udaipur and serves as the Charter President of Rotary Club of Udaipur Drishty. Together with her mother, she has supported the education and skill development of over 1,000 tribal girls, building a legacy of empowerment and positive change.

Mr. Siddharth Rajhans

Career Diplomat | Policy Officer, UN

Mr. Siddharth Rajhans is an international career diplomat, a world-renowned multilateral diplomacy, international relations and public policy expert, a Harvard educated technology educator and investor, management thought leader & professor and a distinguished TED speaker. Currently posted in India on deputation from the UN, Siddharth is shaping India’s diplomatic voice and foreign policy with the government.

Mrs. Krupa & Mr. Bijal Shah

Musician and Artist

Mrs. and Mr. Shah are artists of high caliber in the fields of art and music respectively. Mr. Shah is a vocalist and guitarist where as Mrs. Shah is an artist. Mr. Shah plays Indian Classical Songs on “Hawaiian Guitar” called as “Slide Guitar”. He has been learning music for 35 years under the tutelage of Shri Emu Desai, a mandolin maestro. Mrs. Krupa Shah is an expert showcasing finesse and flair for art. Her work portrays beauty in nature. She has learnt art from renowned artist like Shri Natu Parikh and Shri Bhavesh Zala. She has exhibited her art in private collections in Switzerland, USA, India.

Ms. Amaira Rathod

Student

Ms. Amaira Rathod is a passionate 12th grade science student from who aims to share her innovative ideas through TEDx wherein she presents her research on a school project that reflects her creative vision and true self. She is a trained classical dancer and believes that innovation is rooted in unconventional thinking and fostering a culture of curiosity and collaboration.

Ms. Astha Gill

Aviation Veteran, Trainer, and Educationist

Astha Gill is an Aviation Veteran, Trainer, and Educationist whose dynamic career is as inspiring as it is diverse. Currently pursuing a PhD in Education and nurturing - Special Persona Learning Gallery as its Training Director, she also holds a Masters in Education. Astha has spent nearly 25 years at the forefront of developing cutting- edge teaching methodologies and innovative training programs, always striving to make learning a rewarding and engaging experience.

Ms. Megha Rajpurohit

Student

Ms. Megha Rajpurohit is a student of grade 9 in Heritage Girls School and truly multi-talented. She won first prize at Teen Chef Heritage 2024 and second prize in the National Cooking Competition, 2023. In the field of sports, She has participated in yoga districts 2023, 2024 and badminton districts,2024. She also acquired gold in national-level TATA essay writing competition.

Ms. Monika Singh

Aviation Professional and Guest Lecturer

Ms. Monika is an experienced and dedicated aviation professional and guest lecturer. She has a proven track record as a cabin crew. She has been a keynote speaker in several national and international reputed conferences and prestigious universities. It’s worth mentioning that she has received awards from multiple universities.

Ms. Prerna Solanki

Student

Prerna is an all-rounder, certified game developer and deputy cultural head girl. She’s not new to TEDx as she has recently given a TEDx speech on the difference between Gross National Happiness and Gross Domestic Product which helped garner her interest in economics. She plans to build a strong foundation for a future in education and share her learnings with young minds. When she’s not exploring the past, you can catch her learning polo and bonding with horses. Her achievements include: Won the best leader of student council Received excellence in Community services 2023 Participated and won in multiple MUNS Interned at Global Reach in 2022 and 2024
