In August 2023, she launched DermGPT, an AI tool for dermatologists that improves overall physician and clinical efficiency through real-world answers. Dr. Kamangar’s background includes alma maters like UC Davis and UCSF, and today she serves as the Chair of the Palo Alto Medical foundation and President of the San Francisco Dermatological Society. She served as past Associate Director of the UCSF Psoriasis Center and Clinical Trials Unit after completing her Dermatology training at UCSF. After 20 years as a practicing dermatologist, she added coaching certification, and also serves as a physician executive coach. She helps women physicians design lives and careers that evolve over time, with a focus on physician career longevity.

Professor Engstrom is a nationally recognized authority on tort law, professional responsibility, and complex litigation.
