Every SUPERHERO has an origin - an unlikely series of events that has made them who they are. Every SUPERHERO has sacrificed, working tirelessly in the pursuit of their mission. Every SUPERHERO has to reach outside themselves, pushing past their limits and overcoming obstacles - no matter how great.
Every SUPERHERO has to consider how to wield the unique powers that they hold.
Every SUPERHERO has secrets. Every SUPERHERO has a story. Every SUPERHERO has something to say...
Does that make us all Superheroes? Or is the whole notion too individualistic? Can we be a heroic generation?
We often associate the concept of “heroism” with having powers that no one else has (think Superman’s flight), or acting decisively in a time of great risk or upheaval (think a man risking his life to save a child from a burning building.) Is this too narrow? Is it too individualistic? Can we act collectively in a heroic way? Can we design processes or systems that yield heroic outcomes? Ultimately, there are a multitude of ways to broaden our views on heroism. What kind of heroism does the world need now?
