The word UNRAVEL gets a bad rap. A person’s mind becomes UNRAVELed, you snag a prized sweater on a nail and it starts to UNRAVEL, your best laid plans UNRAVEL when things start to go wrong.

But the word is also used to describe fixing or repurposing. A terrible knot that is causing pain must be UNRAVELed, a worn rug can be UNRAVELed and the fibers repurposed. We can UNRAVEL a mystery that keeps us in the dark and UNRAVEL the intricate details of a long held belief that has only served to hold us back. When a weaver makes a mistake, they must UNRAVEL the problem and begin weaving again.

For the 2025 TEDxEustis conference, we have built a day to reclaim the word UNRAVEL. From UNRAVELing the tangled truths of our family tree, to an effort to UNRAVEL the dangerous lies told to keep medical patients happy, we will explore what happens when we UNRAVEL things that have been convoluted or confusing. From UNRAVELing the imbalance of the car buying experience to questions that UNRAVEL the different ways our brains process written language, our 2025 conference will challenge you to UNRAVEL the way things have been to find better ways forward.

Join us on February 1st, 2025 for an unlikely conference filled with amazing Ideas Worth Spreading interlaced with special activations and interactions that might help you UNRAVEL some new talents or build some amazing new relationships.

We are excited to announce that we are holding this engaging conference at an exciting venue that will help us UNRAVEL even further, Camp Boggy Creek. Tickets are available now at our website.

Tim Cambridge

Comedy Advocate
In 2004, I began my career in comedy as a promoter and producer of live comedy events. Since touring nationwide with comedians and performing in venues of all sizes, I have found comedy to be a shared experience that brings people together. After 20 years on the event booking and promoting side, I decided to be brave and step in front of the microphone and attempt stand-up comedy. I’m totally addicted. I started on the stage at the Improv in Orlando, Florida for open mic and returned time and time again. Today, I still frequent the open mic now at the Funny Bone in Orlando. I enjoy hosting open mic events in my home town of Eustis, Florida and grabbing coffee with friends to talk about comedy writing ideas. My travels take me across the country hosting the Laugh All Night comedy benefit events and it’s a thrill to perform with other comedians. Today, I’m still on the hunt for the next joke. I love the test, tweak, and repeat process of writing comedy.
