In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

A councillor and social worker. Emma, a mother of 5 is committed to helping people with addiction, suicide and help guide families with day to day struggles. Her personal experience her biggest inspiration.

Greg Oppedisano

With 28yrs of dedicated service as a junior and senior high school administrator, teacher and counselor, Greg brings a wealth of experience in educational leadership and student support. As a husband and proud father of 3, he has also navigated the challenges of untreated ADHD for 52 yrs which has enriched his understanding and empathy in his professional and personal life.

Joanna Johnson

Joanna is a high school Vice Principal who has amassed a large social media following with her behind the scenes content of the day to day activities of teaching and her innovative/ creative approach towards her students while utilizing technology. Her engagement through this medium has even had some peg her as a future Canadian Minister of Education.

Sandra Reimer

Sandra is a community leader, business owner, mother and grandmother. When she is not volunteering to train people at the local gym Sandra spends spends most of her time now with her grand kids who have blessed her with a new purpose.
