In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

With specializations in Business Studies and Entrepreneurship, she is a dedicated educator who continuously strives to make a meaningful impact in her students' lives. Her accomplishments as a public speaker and debater are notable, including being the runner-up in the GEMS Inter-School Teacher’s Debate Competition.

Maanya Sethi is a passionate dancer, a skilled Taekwondo player, and a talented public speaker, with an impressive collection of accolades in each area. But when she’s not mastering dance routines, perfecting Taekwondo kicks, or captivating an audience, you’ll find her indulging in culinary adventures, discovering the city’s hidden gems, or people-watching with a steaming cup of chai in hand.

She joined TMS in grade 10, relocating from the national capital region of Gurgaon with her family. Reflecting on her journey where her life underwent drastic change almost overnight, she sees change as a necessary catalyst for evolution.
