After working as an equity analyst at Global Securities between 1993 and 1995, Haydar Acun continued his career at Schroders Securities in London as a country analyst responsible for Turkey on the emerging markets desk and was named the best Turkey analyst by Extel during the same period. Between 1998 and 2000, he served as the director responsible for Turkey operations at the London branch of CAIB, the investment institution of the Bank of Austria, before returning to Turkey to open the company's Istanbul representative office. Mr. Acun worked as assistant general manager in charge of international corporate sales and research at Gedik Securities and served as general manager and chairman of the board of directors at Sardis Securities, which he founded with foreign investors in 2006, until the end of 2014. Haydar Acun graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of English.
