Theme: "metamorphX : The Transformative Power of Education and Technology"

TEDRITkosovo is an independently organized event to be held in the space of AMC Hall, Prishtina, on June 6th, 2024. This event aims to share inspiring stories and ideas worth spreading from people who aim to show us insight into their lives. With the theme "metamorphX", we hope to inspire transformative thinking and innovative solutions that lead to profound personal and societal change.
The theme includes ideas on personal growth, technological advancements, educational reform, social transformations, and the potential for positive change in various aspects of life and society. Through our TED event, we hope to be the voice of the community and the voice for the community. We strive to connect and bring the spirit of TED to Kosovo for individuals who want to learn new things from the latest research and for people who want to share their experiences.

Kristian Kabashi, is an Albanian entrepreneur with origin from jakova, born and raised in Germany. Kristian has a rich international background, having worked in the Netherlands, Switzerland, England, and the US with companies like Dentsu. Two years ago, Kristian returned to Kosovo to invest through his company, Numarics. Based in Switzerland, with offices in Pristina and across Europe, Numarics is a rapidly growing FinTech company, combining human expertise with Al to offer top-notch accounting and financial services. It's among the Top 10 FinTech companies in Europe! Kristian created the Blank Collar concept, which underpins Numarics' operations, and authored "The Blank Collar Equation," a pioneering book on business transformation and the future of work. As a recognized business advisor for Forbes and the recipient of the Most Successful Albanian Entrepreneur in Switzerland award from SwissAlls, Kristian is shaping the future of business.

Taulant Abazi, born and raised in Germany as a child of migrants has been profoundly influenced by his international upbringing and diverse professional experiences. Having grown up and studied in the south of Germany, Taulant harnessed the precision of German engineering and business practices, which he later complemented in the US with American customer centricity and the "just-do-it" philosophy. Four years ago, driven by the stark desire to return to his homeland and contribute his share, he moved to Prishtina with a clear mission: to be part of substantive improvements in Kosova.

Teuta Sahatqija

Ambassador of Women in Tech Kosovo

Teuta Sahatqija is the Ambassador of Women in Tech Kosovo and the visionary founder of TDS Consulting, a firm specializing in business consultancy, digitalization, and strategic planning across various sectors. Teuta has successfully collaborated with notable entities like USAID, UNWOMEN, and GIZ. Additionally, she is the founder of the Women in Tech Kosovo Chapter, promoting digital empowerment for women and girls. Her experience includes serving as the Advisor to the Mayor of Pristina for Digital Transformation and Smart City initiatives, and as a Digitalization Expert for projects funded by UNWOMEN, JICA, and GIZ. She has also mentored SMEs and trained women entrepreneurs and farmers on digital skills.Teuta's political career includes roles as a former Member of Parliament, Consul General of Kosovo in New York, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Her journey from political leadership to tech advocacy embodies a commitment to gender equality and digital empowerment.
