"Eagle Red Beans"
Li-Chian Shen
I am a promoter of life education, a storybook writer, and a global spokesperson for New Balance. I am optimistic and cheerful, and someone who is not afraid of the inconvenience caused by the amputation of my right leg.
I call my prosthetic leg a "beautiful leg" and have won the Literature Award, the National Ten Outstanding Youth and the Presidential Education Award for her essays.
To pay attention to people with disabilities and bridge the gap between the normal and disabled, I also extend social issues to the eagle red beans raised by my father, and show that I care about ecological conservation.

I am a teenager based in Taiwan, studied in experimental schools throughout my life. I like traveling to meet new people, see new places, and explore more about this great big world. I also love music, whether listening to it or playing it. I’ve learned instruments since I was five and joined multiple bands and orchestras. I was selected for a scholarship program for exchange students and studied in Canada for a year when I was fifteen. Through all the learnings from my life, I hope to live out my fantastic life and influence people to step out toward their real desires.

Apa kabar! (Indonesian greeting)
I’m Chloe Chen. I was raised by my grandparents in a small coastal village in Changhua. From a closed-down elementary school, I made it to National Chengchi University. Because of my family background, I used to be an unconfident and timid person, without even the courage to raise my hand to run for class president.
But I knew I wanted to be someone who challenges myself and lives life to the fullest, with the courage to embrace expectations and not fear failure... Step by step, I turned the ideal version of myself from my mind into reality and reached the place I had always dreamed of.
I hope my story inspires you to fully accept yourself and have the courage to make decisions that reflect your authentic self.
Terima kasih! (Thank you in Indonesian.)
