This year’s theme, “Yes I Can,” promises to inspire attendees through a lineup of exceptional speakers who have transformed their challenges into achievements. From groundbreaking innovators to fearless change makers, our speakers will demonstrate that anything is possible when one believes in themselves.

Deepmala KD

Investment Analyst and Professional EmCee
Deepmala KD is an Investment Analyst at BlackRock and a professional multilingual emcee. A first-generation Nepalese Hong Konger, she graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a degree in Finance and Politics. Deepmala is passionate not only about financial literacy but also social justice. She is a 2024 HKSAR Diversity List Awardee, United Nations Millennium Fellow and President of the World University Service, where she advocated for socio-economic development and cross-cultural understanding. Proficient in five languages and a competitive debater with three championship titles, she embodies the spirit of cultural representation and community engagement. Her dedication to honoring her family's legacy while empowering future generations makes her a compelling voice for her community.

Diana Wu David

Futurist, Advisor & Best-Selling Author
The Potential of Humans in an AI Powered World. In an age of AI, what role does human compassion, empathy and teamwork play? Diana shares stories of ways that people are trying to harness AI and emerging technologies to augment human potential and the potential pitfalls of AI to weaponize human behavior and amplify our worst flaws. Her clarion call to care, connect and be curious will help guide us towards a better future.

Eny Bawse

Migrant Worker, Founder of Self-Love Cupid
Eny Bawse, Indonesian-born migrant domestic worker turned activist, a dynamic speaker, and an inspiring author on a mission to empower underserved women to “ Think like warriors and feel like Goddesses”. As a fearless advocate for self-love and mental wellness through her brain child, Self Love Cupid , Eny is dedicated to breaking barriers and building communities. With her strong sense of self and unwavering determination, she is leading the way for others to follow. Eny finds solace in writing and has published her first children’s book titled “Can Maya Do It?” in English or “Kaba Ya Ni Maya” in Tagalog.

Gogo Cheng

Founder of Gogo Cheng Consulting
Over the past two decades, Gogo has dedicated her career to pioneering customer retention models and nurturing customer loyalty for some of the world’s most successful luxury businesses, resulting in sustainable multimillion-dollar annual turnovers. While these companies offer diverse products and embrace varying cultures and business strategies, she believes in uncompromising investment in clienteling. It starts with a “customer-centricity” mindset and a mission to build lifelong relationships with people—from every customer to everyone around the business. After spending 20 years in a corporate environment, she decided to found GC consultancy. With her passion for building memorable human interactions, she is on a mission to build a human-centric community in which people care for each other.

Mengqian Lu

Associate Professor HKUST, President of IAHR-HK
Mengqian is an Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at HKUST and serves as President of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research. Her research bridges AI, climate science, and water management. She graduated with first-class honors from HKUST in 2009, earned her Ph.D. from Columbia in 2014, and joined HKUST faculty in 2016. A two-time international innovation gold medalist, her work has been featured by Newsweek and the BBC. She is also a serial entrepreneur and former hurdler.

Nicole Hui

Career Coach, Recruiter & LinkedIN Top Voice
Nicole is a CUHK Global Business graduate who transitioned from banking to recruitment. She went on exchange to University of Cambridge, Copenhagen Business School and UNC Chapel Hill during her undergraduate. She interned at Deutsche Bank - Asset & Wealth Management. She joined Citi - Management Associate program and rotated across Investment Banking, Sales & Trading and Private Banking Division. After Citi, she joined Michael Page and has over 7 years + recruitment experience, placing CFO and senior levels in the Financial Service Industry. She is also a regular speaker at HKU, CUHK and sat on the University Interview Admission Panel for CUHK Business School. As a seasoned recruiter and LinkedIn Top Voice, she regularly shares insights on LinkedIn and coaches her candidates. Her mission is to empower others to thrive in their careers and lives.
