I have a zest for travel and adventure - i find exploring nature very thrilling. I also like to ‘know’ - I get great satisfaction in learning and knowing about things. As a young person who has grown up in an era of constant social change, I’ve become deeply aware of the powerful voice my generation holds. Young people feel an increasing need to speak up and make their voices heard. This collective energy is powerful and impactful.I chose to focus my TEDx talk on this idea because, as a young person myself, it’s personal. The youth have the passion, the ideas, and the drive, but too often we’re left out of the serious decision making that determine the future we will inherit. My faith and values play an integral role in my drive to promote justice.
