These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Manasi Gupta is a social entrepreneur and engineer who, at 19, founded the Huesofthemind Foundation, a UN SDSN and YOUNGO member nonprofit, providing mental health services that have impacted over 50,000 beneficiaries and reached 1.2 million viewers in four years. A recipient of the prestigious Diana Legacy Award, she advocates for accessible and affordable mental health resources, as highlighted in her TEDx talk. An expressive arts practitioner and aspiring psychologist, she also works at Shell as a Transformational Change Analyst and is the author of *Hues of You*, which raised funds for mental health initiatives. Manasi’s efforts have been recognized nationally by India’s former Health Secretary, and she has represented India at the One Young World Summit, receiving a 100% scholarship from over 56,000 applicants. Invited to the University of Oxford’s Global Leadership Challenge, she is also a Digital Youth Champion by mEducation Alliance and a nominee for UN Women 30 for 2030. Rohith Saraswathi is a full-time corporate engineer turned into a full-time professional STORYTELLER. His hitchhiking trip to Mt. Everest changed his life in more than one too many ways. He has traveled the whole country on his motorcycle for creating an awareness about chasing dreams. He has inspired more than 1.5 lakhs of students by visiting 200+ different educational institutions conducting storytelling sessions for free of cost across Karnataka. He is recipient of “Bharatiya Samskruthi Bhushana” from “The Yoga University of America”.

Saakshar Duggal

Saakshar Duggal is India’s leading youth voice on the legalities of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain.
