In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Nnaemeka, is the Founder/CEO of ColdHubs Limited and Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Smallholders Foundation. In 2015, he launched ColdHubs (www.coldhubs.com) a social conscious company that designs, installs, commissions and maintains 100% solar powered walk-in cold rooms in outdoor food markets, fresh produce collection centers and farms, to enable smallholder farmers, retailers, and wholesalers to store and preserve fresh fruits, vegetables and other perishable food. Nnaemeka is Nigeria's most prominent young agriculturist. He is an Ashoka Fellow 2008 and has won numerous awards, worthy of note is Laureate of the Rolex Awards for Enterprise 2010, Fast Company USA 100 Most Creative in Business 2012 amongst others
