In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Born in Ankara in 1975, Kayalar has worked in a wide range of fields such as acting, producing, screenwriting, graphic design, academia, and pastry making. However, as of February 2024, he has completed 25 years in the film and television industry, both in front of and behind the camera.

Ece Şenkal

Born on February 14, 2000, in Adana, Şenkal completed her primary and secondary education at TED Ankara College Foundation. In 2023, she graduated with high honors from the Department of Psychology at İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University. She also successfully completed her training in "Applied Art Therapy" at Altınbaş University. Şenkal developed an interest in theater and human emotions when she began taking drama lessons at the age of 8. In 2016, she received basic acting training from renowned artists such as Murat Çidamlı, Binnaz Dorkip, and Erdal Beşikçioğlu through the Performance School's acting program. She continued her acting education in 2023 at the BKM Mutfak Theater Workshop. Throughout her career, she has performed in various musicals and theater plays both domestically and internationally. In 2022, she worked in the Student Unit of the Turkish Psychological Association, specifically in the Student Committee for Women and Gender Studies, focusing on gender equality. She also managed projects to develop the company's policies on equal opportunities and discrimination in the Diversity & Inclusion Department of Nestlé Switzerland. Following this, she completed psychoeducation on dating violence at Bilkent University.

Elif Tekgür

She was born in Istanbul in 1996. After graduating from Açı High School, she studied Sociology at Koç University. After university, she worked as an international sales and operations manager at companies such as Atelier Rebul and Yaemina. In 2021, she founded her own personal care and cosmetics brand.

Melih Gümüşbıçak

Born in Ankara, Melih Gümüşbıçak completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in the same city before graduating from the Faculty of Political Sciences (Mekteb-i Mülkiye) at Ankara University, with a degree in Economics. He completed his master's degree in Sports Management at the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Marmara University. During his student years, he played football for various teams and represented the youth national team. He achieved numerous national and international championships with these teams. His professional career in media began in 1992 when he joined the Sports News Department of TRT News as a sports commentator after passing an entrance exam. Following that, he worked as a commentator, program producer, and executive at various channels including Kanal D, Show TV, Cine 5, Skyturk, 360, Lig TV, D-Smart, TV8, and TV8,5. Currently, he prepares and hosts the program "Melih Gümüşbıçak ile Spor Kulübü" on Bloomberg HT. He continues to teach courses such as Media Communication, Effective Communication, Diction, and Phonetics at various educational institutions, primarily at Marmara University.

Murat Özyer

Basketball Coach, Sports Manager

Born on March 31, 1966, in Istanbul, he is a Basketball Coach, Sports Manager, Sports Commentator, and Author. He graduated from Galatasaray High School, Marmara University Business School, and Bilgi University with a master's degree in Interactive Marketing. His managerial career includes roles such as Board Member of BİDEV (Basketball Education and Support Foundation) since 2020, General Secretary of the Turkish Basketball Federation Education Board since 2018, and Vice President of TÜBAD (Turkish Basketball Coaches Association) since 2018. He served as the Youth and Academy Coordinator at Darüşşafaka Sports Club from 2019 to 2021 and as the Coordinator of Galatasaray Basketball Branch from 2012 to 2015. In his coaching career from 1983 to 2012, some highlights include coaching Ankara TED Kolejliler as Head Coach in the 2011-12 season (Second League Championship), Turkish Telekom as Head Coach in the 2009-10 season, and Galatasaray Café Crown in the 2006-09 season
