Alexandru Amitroaie

Alexandru was born in Romania and studies at Inter-Community School Zurich in Switzerland. At 11, he built his first game for a school recycling initiative. At 13, his startup on AI-based learning (Einsteinly) was selected to participate in the YPO Youth Entrepreneurship program’s finale, this year, at 14, he is speaking about quantum mechanics at TEDxICS Zurich Youth. He hopes to express his passion for physics and math in this talk.
David Kumm

David is a 16-year-old student in the IB DP program, and has been fascinated by cars since a young age. Loving both road cars and race cars, his TED talk will be exploring the future of the automotive industry using facts and statistics to conclude if electric cars are the future of an industry he loves.

Friso is a student at Inter-Community School Zurich. The basis of his TED talk is a reflection of his experience which impacted his childhood, his mother's stroke, paired with research into how we as people can best process tragedy.
Makoto Murakami

Makoto is a 16-year-old student attending Inter-Community School Zurich studying the IB DP program. His academic interests include Mathematics and Physics, and in his TED talk, will be challenging the idea of Infinity from both a realistic and mathematical stance. In his free time, he loves playing football frequently, as well as watching his favourite team, Arsenal FC, play.
Sara Reynoso Fuentes

Sara is a 16-year-old Mexican student of the International Baccalaureate program. She immigrated to Zurich from her home country at the age of 9 and has been living there ever since. She has been fortunate enough to be able to enjoy a mixture of things, from literature and theatre, to questioning scientific developments and the world around her. She is currently studying Chemistry, Biology, and Psychology in the DP and hopes to study Biochemistry and Cell Biology in the future.

Varun is a student of the International Baccalaureate programme in Zürich. At the age of 7 he discovered his interest in technology, and from the age of 13 he began discovering security vulnerabilities in software built by companies, including Google, Meta and MIT's Scratch Foundation.
Now, at 17, his TED talk is an educational reflection of the time he accidentally discovered a major vulnerability affecting hundreds of schools around the world and the consequences that followed.
Vittoria de Sanctis

Vittoria is a 17 year old Italian-Swiss young lady residing in Zurich. She is very passionate about playing sports, arts, design and spending quality time with family and friends. After she graduates high school next year, she has planned to take a gap year after which she will commence her Fashion Design studies. Speaking at this TEDx event appeals to her due to a strong interest in public speaking and parental encouragement. She chose to discuss the correlation between the nutritional value of blueberries and improved quality of life.
