In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Hillary Miller

Hillary Miller, Solving Fun, Co-Founder Hillary Miller brings a wealth of experience in education from her 20+ years teaching in Austin, Texas, and in the California Bay Area. As a former teacher and administrator who struggled to find resources to meet students’ needs while also sparking joy in learning, Hillary co-founded Solving Fun, LLC in 2020. She now spends her days creating puzzles, activities, and games focused on collaboration, perseverance and creative problem solving. She is also currently pursuing her PhD in Career and Technical Education.

Nathan Levy

Nathan Levy's talk, "Let's Create Bonds through Communal Singing", invites listeners to participate in an audience choir—singing and harmonizing without any rehearsals. Then through a deep dive into this experience we uncover ways to create strong communities in any space. At Gunn High School Nathan Levy serves as the ASB President, but after the school day he plays the trumpet, piano, and sings in various ensembles. He loves playing, composing, and learning about all facets of classical music and the wealth of knowledge it has to offer.
