In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anna Kopp

Anna Kopp is Director Microsoft Digital at Microsoft Germany since 2015 and has been with the company since 2004 in multiple global roles in sales and operations. She is branch manager of the large main office in Munich, EMEA Lead of Women@Microsoft, member of the Advisory Board of the Munich Business School, Co-Founder and board member of Female CIO Circle, and vice chair of the Board of Directors for Muenchner Kreis. Anna comes from Sweden where she studied International Communication at the University of Stockholm and has been in Germany since 1992. In 2020 she was voted one of the most inspiring women in Germany, in 2023 she was chosen by The Promptah AI Magazine as one of the Top 100 Role Models for a Better Future, and she has just been named one of the most innovative women in AI and Data by CIO Look Magazine. She is a specialist in the new world of work and AI from a cultural, political and practical perspective. She advocates flexible working models, and is a Gender Equality Role Model in the German Tech Industry. In her spare time she does offroad motorbiking and sings in a rockband, she even won a Rock Oscar as Germanys best singer once upon a time!
