In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anthony Taylor

Anthony Taylor is a dedicated student and passionate epilepsy advocate. Outside of school, he enjoys photography, creative writing, and philosophy. After many years, Anthony has built up the courage to share his experiences with Epilepsy to promote greater understanding and awareness.

Julia Eiferman

Julia Eiferman is a high school senior who is dedicated to sharing her experiences around the education system and its implications for students mental health. Drawing from personal experience, she highlighted the impact of academic stress on students' well-being. She hopes that her talk will spark important conversations about education reform and mental health. She plans to continue advocating for healthier school environments in college and beyond.

Kalai Prakash

Kalai is currently a sophomore in high school. She is involved in her school’s choir and drama club. She plans to major in a math or science-related field.

Meenu Ramasubramanian

Meenu Ramasubramanian is a current Junior at Dublin Coffman High School. She is passionate about advocating for social change, and making political literacy more accessible and less taboo with the general public. Her personal experiences as POC immigrant and artist has helped craft her open minded world view and creative approach to the world. She seeks to use her voice to help provide a space where people can be opened up to ideas that they haven’t considered before.

Sameera Akkenapally

Sameera Akkenapally is a sophomore in high school who is passionate about politics and the world around her. She is involved as a journalist for her school paper and produces her own podcast-like YouTube videos. She uses her platform to bridge the gap between the left and right to find the truth. She is also an avid traveler who is always eager to learn more about different cultures. You can check her out on her YouTube channel called Sameera A., her podcast channel is called Sameera’s Pod.
