Duaa Mushahid

Duaa is a junior at the American School of Dhahran. She is seventeen years old and spends most of her time reading. She was born in New Jersey, but moved to Saudi Arabia when she was eight years old and has lived there ever since. She discovered her love for public speaking through Model UN and has participated in MUN conferences since she was in middle school. Although she’s spoken at many different events, TEDx has been the most memorable.

Eshal Khattak

Eshal Khattak is 16 year old junior at the American School of Dhahran. She loves public speaking, as she was extremely extroverted from a young age, participating in MUN, debate, and poetry/speech competitions. She is a dancer and performer, teaching dance and painting classes, and immerses herself in a multitude of sports including football, basketball, squash, and golf. She hopes to pursue a career in Medicine. From her strong belief in advocating for women’s creative freedom and hobbies in underdeveloped areas, since she herself enjoys them so much, she started her student led organisation called Jinaykay, which advocates for young girls in underdeveloped areas to make their own free creative decisions and expand on their hobbies. That’s why she aims to use her voice for better, advocating for little things that could make big differences in peoples lives.
