Alaa Arnaout

Alaa, a 20-year-old Lebanese individual born and raised in the UAE, is currently pursuing a major in psychology and a minor in health studies at the American University of Dubai. Alaa Arnaout is fueled by a passionate commitment to advancing mental well-being, recognizing its paramount importance, particularly in the contemporary challenges of today's fast-paced and interconnected world. In university, Alaa Arnaout wears multiple hats as she assumes leadership roles and engages actively in extracurricular pursuits. Currently serving as the Deputy Secretary General of the AUD Model United Nations, the School of Arts and Sciences Representative in the Student Government Association, Vice President of the Lebanese Cultural Club, a Peer Advisor, and a Resident Assistant. Alvin Orbaek White

Dr. Alvin Orbaek White is the founder and CEO of TrimTabs litd. He is also an honorary Associate Professor and former Sêr Cymru II Fellow at Swansea University. He arrived at the Energy Safety Research Institute (ESRI) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, MA, USA) Department of Mechanical Engineering. He earned a PhD in Chemistry from Rice University (Houston, TX, USA) where he specialized in the growth and application of carbon nanomaterials.

Hadiya Shah

Hadiya is a Freshman at the American University in Dubai majoring in Finance. Passionately engaged in women’s rights, she actively contributes to several organizations dedicated to combating gender bias. Currently working at a leading real estate firm in Dubai, Hadiya plays a vital role in expanding its digital footprint. Originally from the scenic Kashmir valley, she has enthusiastically worked towards promoting Kashmiri Handicrafts across the Middle East. Hadiya is a staunch advocate for bolstering local economies through the sustainable development of cottage industries, particularly in her native Kashmir. Additionally, as an emerging painter, she has collaborated with renowned artists, showcasing her diverse talents and interests.

Haitham Solh

Dr. Haitham is a highly motivated, hard-working, and ambitious individual with outstanding leadership and management skills. As a Dean, he oversaw the development and implementation of academic degree programs, ensuring quality assurance and responding to accreditation reports. Despite his responsibilities, he maintained a friendly and collegiate work environment. Dr. Haitham effectively led a diverse school, showcasing effective leadership through enthusiasm and transparency. In addition to his administrative role, Dr. Haitham has a proven track record in teaching, research, and service. He continuously strives for improvement, demonstrating flexibility and motivation as a professor and researcher.

Previously he worked as a Senior Sales Manager for an Online Marketing / SEO / SEA company. His main focus was profitability increase, sales growth and project management. He has also worked as a tax consultant in Germany. His first job was as a model in the fashion industry. He worked with brands such as Sergio Tacchini, Tommy Hilfiger, SikSilk, Antony Morato, Bruno Banani and Wrangler.

Mohamed Anzeem Arief

Anzeem is a Technical Developer and Data Scientist skilled in Python, Java, C++, SQL, and MS Office, with expertise in deep learning, machine learning, statistics, NLP, and data visualization. He has a diverse linguistic background and professional experience in AI/ML, including projects with Tyqee Solutions, BeCode in Ghent and internships at Honeywell and Al Jaber Group. Anzeem is passionate about sports, particularly badminton, volleyball, and javelin throw, and has recently taken an interest in chess and jiu-jitsu. He is pursuing a master's in Computer Engineering after completing a BSc in Engineering Technology and studying Business Management. Anzeem is driven by his goal-oriented approach and aims to contribute to innovative solutions in the field of technology.

Shamma Al Naqbi

Dr. Shamma Al Naqbi, currently Associate Dean at Rabdan Academy, began her career at the Higher College of Technology as English Faculty Lead, then advanced to Foundation Program Chair. At Rabdan Academy, she chaired the Foundation and General Education Program and later became Student Affairs Director, overseeing restructuring efforts. Her academic background includes a Master of Strategic Security Studies from the National Defense College, a Ph.D. in Education Management, Policy, and Leadership from a British university, a Master of TESOL from Melbourne University, and a Bachelor of Education from the Higher Colleges of Technology. Each academic milestone enriches her expertise and dedication to education's broader impact on society.
