Theme: A Person Through People

The Zulu proverb Ubuntu, means "I am a person through other people. My humanity is tied to yours."

We as human beings cannot exist in isolation. None of us come into this world with fully developed personalities. It is when we interact with other human beings that we learn how to think, walk, speak or even behave. We need other human beings to be human. Intriguing, isn't it?

Social Interdependence is at the centre of our Indian culture. People are born into groups—families, clans, subcastes, castes, and religious communities. Our culture values relationships more than anything else. It is from these relationships and social interactions that we are moulded into human beings with strong values and roots.

Thus, our theme, ‘A Person Through People,’ focuses on highlighting a society where people learn and grow through experiences and interactions, it focuses on the power of connections and it focuses on a brand of leadership that aims at empowering those around, fostering simultaneous growth for both the leader and the individuals involved.

Recognized for his bravery, he's been honored with two Police Medals for Gallantry and other accolades like the Kathin Seva Padak and Parakram Padak. Additionally, he's an accomplished ultra-marathoner, a Half Ironman triathlon finisher, and a skilled martial artist. Notably, in 2008, he scaled Mount Everest, marking a remarkable achievement.
