Aaryan Bahri
Student Activist
Aaryan is a Grade 12 CBSE student studying Science with Psychology. While he seems entirely incapable of explaining what an electron is, he can have an infinitely long conversation about Greek mythology without breaking a sweat! When he's not losing brain cells studying inorganic chemistry you'll find him either reading, binge watching Modern Family or simply sleeping on the floor using his dog as a pillow.
He is an enthusiastic learner who's always looking to expand his knowledge. He has significant public experience through his active participation in several Model United Nations conferences and has a knack for finding the fun and exciting components of even the most dull topics.
Alokparna Sengupta
Animal Welfare Activist
Alokparna Sengupta is the Managing Director for Humane Society International/India. She has over 15 years of experience including over a decade of that in the animal protection movement. She has been part of several government and scientific committees including that of Indian Council of Medical Research, CDSCO, Central Insecticides Board, Bureau of Indian Standards, etc.
She has also been part of several stakeholder committee meetings to bring in animal friendly policies in India including the prohibition on animal testing for cosmetics, amendment in pesticide testing, farm animal welfare, amendment of prevention of cruelty to animals Act, etc. She has served as a trainer on animal law at workshops for judicial magistrates, police personnel and animal welfare advocates. Her expertise lies in animal protection issues and animal law. She has been a guest faculty at NALSAR University of Law’s P.G. Diploma course on Animal Law, O.P. Jindal University and National Law School, Bengaluru.
Neelima Pudota
Mountaineer and Author
Neelima Pudota is an Author, Mountaineer and a Yoga instructor. After a stint of 10+ years in the corporate world, she chose to follow her calling of mountaineering full time.
Amongst the many mountains she has climbed, in 2016, she became the first woman from Andhra Pradesh to have made a summit attempt on Mt. Everest. Her experiences of the journey is penned down in her book named "From Everest with Love". She is also a bharatanatyam dancer and has been teaching Yoga full time for over 7 years now.
Shakthi Abhinaya Vignesh
Classical Dancer
Shakthi Abinaya, a 12th grade student at CHIREC International, has always believed in ever widening her spectrum of skills. An ardent public speaker who has taken part in MUN and youth parliaments, she has earned high appreciation from experts, teachers and seniors. A black belt holder in Taekwondo, she has participated in various public tournaments. She is a responsible social contributor who recently ventured into social entrepreneurship through her co-founded 'Project Anukriti' to empower rural women and help them achieve gainful self employment, as part of the 1M1B and TPA organizations.
In addition to this, she has been active learner of the classical arts of Carnatic Singing and Bharatanatyam. A proponent of the Tanjavur and Kalakshetra style of Bharatanatyam, she has performed in several stages across Hyderabad including her recent 'Arangetram' performance culminating as a key milestone of her decade long learning journey of Bharatanatyam.
Tanvi Ratna
Policymaking Expert
Tanvi has deep and global experience in policymaking and emerging technology. Before founding Policy 4.0 she has worked with leading decision-makers such as the Prime Minister of India, the Foreign Affairs Committee on Capitol Hill, and multiple central and state government agencies in India.
As the founder & CEO for Policy 4.0, Tanvi is responsible for guiding decisions and achieving rational outcomes for decision-makers and regulatory bodies.
Tanvi Greeshma Reddy
Gender Activist
Tanvi is a Y1 IBDP student at CHIREC International School pursuing the irregular diploma.
Her passion lies in unraveling the mysteries of biology delving into the intricacies of the human brain - the origins of life itself! Her fascination extends towards breaking societal barriers, especially the ones based on gender stereotypes, as she aims to bridge the gap between the understanding of equity and equality through the employment of art and science; one step away from translating vision into a tangible utopian society.
She has contributed towards the same through her position as the Vice President of CHIREC’s Interact Club while also co-founding, “Impact Now”, a project-based non-profit organization to help fulfill the UN’s SDGs.
