TEDxSJU Bangalore is the result of the coming together of innovation and creativity with a sensitized understanding of the need to spread unique ideas. We at TEDxSJU Bangalore combine our passion with our sweat to create this one of a kind event with speakers from versatile backgrounds speaking about ideas that are poles apart yet hold similarities in the nuances. The theme for TEDxSJU Bangalore, Looking through the Prism, echoes the thoughts of our community, to look at the things which appear ordinary, from a new perspective. To go in with one idea like a beam of light, and let your thoughts diverge into a plethora of colors. We are believers that the sharp mind needs food for thought, and we have plenty to serve. With over 25 years of extensive experience in technology spanning software and hardware product development, Dhananjay Singh is dedicated to fostering the next generation of tech creators and innovators as the Founder of Roboprenr, an educational venture. His expertise encompasses a wide array of technologies including web, mobile, server-side development, as well as robotics and IoT. Graduating from IIT, Roorkee, Dhananjay has honed his technical, management, and leadership skills, further augmented by an Executive MBA in Product Leadership from the Institute of Product Leadership. His career journey includes pivotal roles such as leading the Mobile Frameworks Team at Amadeus, where he spearheaded the development of a revolutionary mobile platform for airlines. Some would call him the face of SJU, but to us, Kiran Jeevan is not just the face of SJU; he is the heartbeat, the guiding light, and the soul of our community. As a friend, mentor, and dedicated professional, his impact resonates far beyond titles – a true inspiration to all fortunate enough to know his story.

Lena Robra has been heading the academic engagement team at Swissnex in India since September 2021. Prior to this, she led the activities of the Bengaluru Sustainability Forum, an entity formed by Bengaluru’s leading academic institutions that aims to bring the UN SDGs into the local context. She obtained her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Biochemistry from the Leibniz University of Hannover and the Hannover Medical School, respectively. She holds a PhD in Biology from the National Centre of Biological Sciences/Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.
