Julian Bergsø Dimitrov
Student
I love challenge, it runs through my veins and everyday activities. This is reflected in my highly varied hobbies ranging from digital art, karate, and chess to weightlifting. I began my educational journey in a Danish school but decided to switch to the IGCSE program (P6) to uncover challenges. I love to approach normalities from an alternate perspective, uncovering hidden gems. Taboo rarely shies me away. Along with this lie my deep- rooted family values. They are the only thing I would never take for granted. Empathy is my nature, and traveling is at my heart.
Kirstine Finne Thomsen
Student
Hey, I’m Kirstine, a 15-year-old Danish born and raised individual on a quest to squeeze the most out of life. I’m the kind of nature-loving, always-up-for-an-adventure kind of person who can be an absolute idiotic goofball around friends while simultaneously contemplating the meaning of the universe (think: shower thoughts outside of the shower). Music is simultaneously my vibe and the go-to refuge, while reading, binging shows, and doodling are the downtime favourites. I’ve got absolutely zero plans for the future, just a desire to learn interesting stuff, roam the world and see where the wind takes me.
Kriti Prajapati
Engineer by mistake, comedian by choice.
Kriti made her mark in Denmark with her unique blend of cultural humour after completing a rigorous 2-year acting program at the Commedia School in Copenhagen.

Her entertaining and astute take on cultural shocks in Denmark has endeared her to audiences, leading to numerous sold-out shows, including “Almost Danes", "My Big Fat Indian Wedding", and "Don't Leave Us Alone with the Danes”. Kriti's journey from engineering to comedy, coupled with her ability to weave humour into everyday experiences helps her uncover the hidden joy in even the most challenging situations.
Mathias Dahl Nørregaard
Student
My name is Mathias Dahl Nørregaard, I am 16 years old and have, prior to my stay at Odense International School (OIS), been a student at Aaløkkeskolen, and US Rochester Riverside school. If I were to describe myself, I would mention that I am highly competitive, passionate, considerate (especially towards others perspectives), and hopefully in the view of others, humouristic, caring and polite. As for myself, I tend to find my interest in being social with friends, going to athletics, but also once in a while tend to enjoy video games. As a matter of fact i also find interest in complex subjects, covering ground of astrophysics and mathematics.
Simon Vilms Pedersen
Researcher
Simon is a multidisciplinary researcher and Tenure Track Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Denmark. Part researcher and part entrepreneur, Simon has won awards from both the European Space Agency and Nordic Energy Research.
Simon started his academic career looking at the unglamorous world of fertilization with manure. Getting knee-deep in muddy fields allowed him to understand the hidden emissions from agriculture.
He then combined his work with manure with the high-tech worlds of optics and machine learning. He has put considerable effort into the unlikely question ‘Can we measure pig poop from space?’. - The answer, and his journey, will surprise you.
