Abdullah Ouran is the Special Projects and Performance Senior Manager at Talabat Jordan, where he oversees the company's performance to drive key business decisions and leads special projects He is an experienced, bilingual industrial engineer with over ten years of multidisciplinary experience across various industries in data analytics, planning, and business improvement. He has previously held several roles in multinational companies in Jordan and the United Kingdom.

Daoud Abdel Hadi

Data Science Lead at EastNets

I am a Machine Learning Engineer at EastNets, where I'm responsible for introducing and implementing machine learning to tackle the not-so-easy task of combatting financial crimes such as money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud. I graduated with both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Artificial Intelligence where I fully immersed myself in all things machine learning, from decision trees to state-of-the-art Deep Neural networks. I like being able to explain things and dislike being unable to explain something. This is where my field and I fit together perfectly, I get to think of creative and innovative ways to make sense of data for a living and make something useful out of it.

Dina Halaseh

Educational Psychologist & Co-Founder and Director of Cognitive Training at Mind Matters,

Dina Halaseh holds a master's degree in Educational Psychology and is a member of the British Psychological Society. She joined the LearningRx family in 2013 to become a brain trainer. Halaseh works with children and adults to develop their cognitive abilities. With experience in hands-on brain training, she co-founded Mind Matters to help ensure learners achieve their desired levels of success. The center has been supporting many children and adults since 2015 to develop their cognitive abilities and help them overcome their learning struggles like attention, memory and reading struggles. Mind Matters is licensed by LearnigRx, USA to offer unique cognitive development programs like BrainRx, AccelerateRx, MathRx and ReadRx. The center also provides a new brain training and early intervention programs for children aged 4.5-6, the only program in Jordan based on scientific research and years of development.

Dina Sam'an

Founder and Managing Director of CoinMENA

A Jordanian entrepreneur, passionate about reshaping the landscape of digital finance in the Middle East. Currently the Co-Founder and Managing Director of CoinMENA. I am also a board member of my alma mater Princess Sumaya University For Technology and an Advisory Board Member for Women in Tech Bahrain. Established in 2019, CoinMENA is a cryptocurrency platform licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain and Dubai's Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority. On CoinMENA, investors can buy, sell, send, receive, and store digital assets safely and securely, as well as deposit and withdraw in their local currency. I was among the first to provide access to crypto assets in the MENA region, and have been deeply involved in the crypto assets industry ever since, consistently staying on top of the latest developments. My focus includes the regulatory aspects of the crypto industry, and providing regional investors with a compliant platform to invest in digital assets.

Ebaa Fayyoumi

Professor at Princess Sumaya University for Technology

Prof. Ebaa Fayyoumi earned a B.Sc. degree in 2000 from Hashemite University (HU) in Zarqa, Jordan, and an M.Sc. degree in 2002 from the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. In 2008, she received her Ph.D. from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She has been at Hashemite University's Faculty of Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II for Information Technology since 2008. She held several administrative positions at Hashemite University, including Chairman of Computer Science and Applications, Chairman of Computer Information System, Vice Dean of The Deanship of Academic Development and International Outreach, and Vice Dean -Faculty of Graduate Studies. Before joining Hashemite University, she was a Lecturer at Carleton University. From 2016 until 2018, Ebaa worked at Princess Sumaya University for Technology. She has worked in empowering women in the IT sector since 2010.

Ghassan Al Lahham

Al- Lahham is a well-known expert in the use of automation in the public education and healthcare sectors. He has been recognized for his entrepreneurial accomplishments in achieving significant milestones in his career. His main asset is combining the experience of a private sector entrepreneur, with his leadership of automation in world-class education and healthcare. He also has been directly managing a number of projects that have rapid and long term impact on the development of healthcare and education sectors in Jordan, and the local region. He is also a founder and CEO of Electronic Health Solutions International (EHSI), Amman – Jordan EHSI is a healthcare IT company that is solely focused on the Middle East Healthcare market. Headquartered in Amman, EHSI is dedicated to support Middle East healthcare organizations to improve the quality of care through the use of internationally proven technologies.

José Carlos Quadrado

Engineering Educator

Jose Carlos Quadrado, SEFI Fellow, is an international leader in engineering education. He is a tenured coordinating-professor with aggregation in the Electrotechnical Engineering field, currently he is the ENTER Network president, international entity that regulates worldwide the engineering educator profession. He holds a BSc in Energy and Power Systems, as well as a diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation and Industrial Electronics from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, a MSc and a Doctor degree in Electrical Engineering and Computers from Lisbon University (2000). He also holds the Habilitation degree (Aggregation) in Electrical Engineering from Beira Interior University (2007).

Nisreen Matalka

Nisreen is a distinguished dance and sports trainer dedicated to fostering a healthier and more active lifestyle. Her expertise extends beyond fitness training, as she advocates for overall well-being and serves as a passionate activist, leveraging her social media presence to raise awareness on important issues. Nisreen's influence goes beyond physical fitness; she has built a community centered around health, empowerment, and positive change. Her commitment to social responsibility is evident through initiatives like hosting annual runs for cancer patients, organizing runs for Gaza, and spearheading the "Run for Salam" initiative. In addition to her impactful work in fitness and activism, Nisreen's motivational speaking skills make her an asset in enhancing workplace environments. Her sessions address various aspects of well-being, including mental health, stress management, and goal-setting, inspiring positivity and determination among employees. Nisreen Matalka's collaborations are characterized by authenticity and a genuine connection with her audience, making her an inspiring figure in both fitness and social advocacy.

Rami Al Karmi is a distinguished futurist, investor, executive coach, advisor, and innovation strategist. He is the Executive Chairman of Ab(new)normal Ventures - a Venture Capital & Corporate Innovation Studio founded by Rami to focus on AI, Blockchain, DeFi, and Web3-based Digital Twin Exponential Business Model Ventures in FinTech, EdTech, and the Future of Work. Rami is also the author of the forthcoming book "AB(NEW)NORMAL - How to Evolve Your Mindset and Business Out of Hunger Games!". He also serves as a Professor of Practice in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Director of the Online Learning Center OLC@HTU at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU). He previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Group Chief Innovation Officer at Jordan Ahli Bank, and Founding CEO of Ahli FinTech. Salam Abualhayjaa

Mechanical Engineer, Spacesuit Design Engineer, & Founder and CEO of Shield and Tech

Salam Abu Alhayjaa, the first analog astronaut from Jordan, received the highest honors in his mechanical engineering degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology. Her love of space travel started when she was young. She went on to win a competition to develop space suits, which led to the publication of three scientific publications and a prominent position in her area. She joined the Asclepios team in Switzerland and worked on several versions of space suits. During her voyage, Salam spoke as the Arab ambassador for Yuri's Night in the United States and represented Jordan and the Arab world at international space events including Humans to Mars and the Analog Astronaut Conference. She promoted youth possibilities in space-related professions and was awarded a full scholarship to the United States for astronaut training.

My journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, fueling my passion for applying technology to solve real-world challenges.
