In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

He is qualified to practise law in India and (after obtaining a master of laws degree specialised in air & space laws from McGill University in 2005) the UK. His work experience spans three continents, having worked in Canada, the UK, Sweden, Hong Kong and India. He has been with Jet Airways (India) Limited since 2008 and has managed multiple portfolios ranging from aircraft leasing & contracts to regulatory affairs to law. Over the last 4+ years he has worked closely with the court appointed Administrator and has been pivotal to help Jet Airways successfully emerge from a corporate insolvency resolution process. His assiduous efforts are now in the direction of getting Jet Airways off the ground like the metaphorical phoenix.

He is widely known as the author of the story cycle ‘we of the forsaken world…’, the world travelling web serialisation Girar (found at www.girar.world), and the multilingual poetry anthology Speaking in Tongues. He has published books in five other languages, and has had his writing published in journals such as The Caravan, Outlook India, Sahitya Akademi, The Kenyon Review, Prairie Schooner, The Brooklyn Rail, The Colorado Review, 3:AM Magazine, Cordite Poetry Review, SOFTBLOW, and many other places. He has been to 150 countries, lived in 25 cities in the world, and speaks 12 languages, but currently lives in Mumbai, where he is currently the co-chair of the Environmental Sustainability Subcommittee of the Global Indian Council.
