Theme: Greed for knowledge

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Alexandr is a computer science enthusiast who focuses on environmental sustainability. His journey began from a personal passion for coding and a keen awareness of global environmental issues. Alexandr is also absolutely into learning mathematics and always willing to share his knowledge tutoring his peers after classes.

Alikhan Yessen

Alikhan is particularly fond of mathematics and programming which helped him to sharpen his critical thinking skills. Alikhan takes an active part in the school debate club at which he shares his knowledge and learns how to prove his viewpoint. As for sport, Alikhan loves swimming and football.

Assel, a sophomore at the university, finds joy in exploring the realms of computer science and art. Though modest in demeanor, she plays a pivotal role as the vice president of the art club, where her artistic talents flourish. Assel's enthusiasm for trying new things and delving into various domains reflects her spirit of exploration and self-discovery.

Ayaulym is keen on learning languages. She is really passionate about learning her native language, Kazakh. This passion has brought her two notable awards in the linguistic contests. In her free time, Ayaulym learns Chinese. Ayaulym is a professional swimmer.

Rakhat Omirbek

Rakhat is a vibrant personality with many passions. In our community Rakhat is well-known for his Vision Assistant start-up which has won several awards in the international competitions: InfoMatrix Asia, Solve For Tomorrow and Smart City. Another Rakhat’s lifelong passion is cinematography which allows him to express his ideas and emotions.
