In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Cagri Akyol Cevirir

He was born in Istanbul in 1992. After completing his high school education at Saint Michel Private French High School between 2006 and 2011, he graduated from the Psychology department of Université Lumière Lyon 2 in 2016. During his undergraduate studies, he initially completed an internship at Villeurbanne Cabinet De Neuropsychologie in the Neuropsychology clinic. During these years, he participated in numerous academic research projects and social responsibility initiatives. Cihan Tastan

Cihan Taştan graduated from METU Molecular Biology and Genetics department in 2011 as a "High Honor" student. In the same year, he was awarded a full scholarship to pursue a PhD in Microbiology-Immunobiology at New York University. He completed his Ph.D. thesis in September 2017, especially on the relationships between human immune system cells and bacterial species in our body. He received his (PhD) title. In January 2015, he continued his research with the title of Pre-Doctoral Associate at The Jackson Laboratory-Genomic Medicine Institute.

Then, in 2020, she completed her medical specialization at Hacettepe University, Department of Neuroscience. She was Born in Ankara in 1975. Graduated from Ankara Başkent High School in 1992 and Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. Completed specialization in the Department of Psychiatry at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine and became a psychiatrist in 2005. Has taken courses in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Group Supervision, Level I and II Family Therapies, Cognitive Psychotherapy, and Family and Relationship Therapies, and has published articles in local and foreign journals. Nevzat Tarhan

He was born in Merzifon in 1952. He finished Kuleli Military High School in 1969 and graduated from Cerrahpaşa Medical School İstanbul University in 1975. Following his internship at GATA (Gülhane Military Medical Academy) he worked in Cyprus and Bursa garrisons at different military medical institutions. In 1982 he became a specialist psychiatrist at GATA. After his clinical services as a specialist at Erzincan and Çorlu Hospitals, he became an assistant professor(1988), an associate professor (1990) at GATA Haydarpaşa. He was promoted to colonel in 1993 and became a professor in 1996. Between 1996 – 1999 he worked at Yüzüncü Yıl University as faculty member and as an expert at Forensic Institution. He got retired on his own will. He took the representation of “Memory Center of America” in Turkey in 1998. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Board of NPİSTANBUL, the first neuropsychiatry hospital of Turkey and also the founding Rector of Üsküdar University.

Osman Çerezci

Prof.Dr. Osman ÇEREZCİ was born in Merzifon, 1951. He graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of science. He gained expertise in bio electromagnetic interactions in Sakarya University electrical and electronic department. He served as director of the Institute of Science.And established an Electromagnetic Research Center (SEMAM) at the University of Sakarya. He gave lectures on Electromagnetic fields and Engineering Physics and its related fields to undergraduates, graduates and doctorate students . He made projects on electromagnetic pollution in municipal of the Kadıköy, Nilüfer, Ataşehir, Maltepe.Dr.Çerezci, who has numerous scientific publications in the fields of electromagnetic waves and and has written books on electromagnetic pollution.

Ozgenur Taskin

She was born in Istanbul. In 2012, she graduated from Göztepe Anatolian High School, and in 2017, she graduated from the Psychology (English) department of Üsküdar University. During her undergraduate studies, she actively participated in numerous academic research projects, social responsibility initiatives, and volunteered at counseling centers. Throughout her education, she completed internships as a psychology trainee at various institutions, including Lape Hospital in France, NP Istanbul Neuropsychiatry Hospital, the Neurology and Psychiatry Department of ÇAPA University Hospital, the Humanite Psychiatry Clinic, and the Neurology Laboratory. She successfully completed her clinical internships during this time.

Penbesel Ozdemir Yagiz

Clinical Psychologist Penbesel Özdemir graduated with high honors from the Master's program in Clinical Psychology at Üsküdar University with her thesis titled "The Relationship Between Childhood Trauma and Self-Psychology. She completed her clinical internship at NP Istanbul Brain Hospital and Erenkoy Mental and Nervous Diseases Training and Research Hospital.

Sermin Kesebir

Prof. Dr. Sermin Kesebir graduated from Dokuz Eyluel University Faculty of Medicine in 1995 and completed her psychiatric specialty training at Ege University Department of Psychiatry. After completing her compulsory service at Kırıkkale Training and Research Hospital, she received the title of associate professor at Adnan Menderes University in 2008. From 2009 to 2014, she served as an instructor in the Acute Psychosis Department at Erenkoey Mental and Neurological Diseases Education and Research Hospital. Since 2014, she has been a professor at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of Uskudar University and a consulting physician in the outpatient treatment department of NPİSTANBUL Hospital.

Sultan Tarlaci

Sultan Tarlacı was born in Rize, Turkey in 1970. He finished medical school in 1995 and specialized in neurology in 2000. He was awarded a Research Encouragement Award by the Society of Brain Research (2000), a Research Encouragement Award by TUBITAK Society of Brain Research (2001), the Sedat Simavi Health Sciences Award by the Society of Turkish Journalists (2003), NeoCortex Prize (2014). Tarlacı is a study member of the Neurology Intensive Care and Cognitive Neuroscience Group. He is the author of a medical textbook titled Neurologic Emergency Disease: Current Diagnosis and Treatment (2011) and four recently published popular books titled Crime and Brain (2017), From Cave to Mars (2017), Death’Dic (2016), Why Schrödinger's cat became schizophrenic? (2016) and NeuroQuantology (New York, 2014).
