Bhava Prakrithi by Swaraksharam

Classical Music Ensemble
Much like the sun, moon, rains, and greenery that surround us, Swaraksharam draws inspiration from the natural world. Bhava Prakrithi is their harmonic ode to nature, where the students will sing a heartfelt song honouring nature, expressing the emotions of the five elements through various ragas. Through the different ragas in the song they will be expressing the emotions of the elements of nature.

Dr. Aravind Srinivasan

Chief Medical Officer, Director – Projects, Aravind Eye Care System
Dr. Aravind has been leading the Aravind Eye Hospital Chennai as Chief Medical Officer and serves on the Board of the Govel Trust which runs the Aravind eye hospitals. On a clinical front, Dr. Aravind is a high-volume cataract surgeon. He is also a Director of Projects in Aravind Eye Care System and in a non-clinical capacity, he is involved in innovations and execution at Aravind Eye Hospital. He evaluates Aravind’s new projects and ensures growth in eye care delivery. He mentors staff to invent and implement innovations in areas of need, to deliver patient-centred care. He is a public speaker and also guides B School students through projects at Aravind Eye Care System.

Dr. C Sylendra Babu I.P.S

Retired Director General of Police & Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu
Dr. C. Sylendra Babu, IPS, is a retired Director General of Police & Head of Police Force in Tamil Nadu, India. His distinguished career is marked by challenging assignments, and he has introduced innovative initiatives to enhance police service and public safety. Dr. Babu, a ‘Commando’ graduate from National Security Guards (BLACK CAT), has excelled not only in law enforcement but also as a remarkable sportsman, achieving proficiency in swimming, shooting, cycling, running, and more. His accolades include the Prime Minister’s Medal for life-saving, President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service and Distinguished Services, and Chief Minister’s Medal for outstanding devotion to duty and gallantry. As a prolific writer with 14 books on leadership, motivation, fitness, and spirituality, Dr. Sylendra Babu serves as a role model and inspiration. His courage, dedication, and versatility make him a true legend and a source of pride for Tamil Nadu.

Dr. Mohamed Rela

Chairman & Managing Director of Dr. Rela Institute & Medical Centre
Dr. Mohamed Rela is a global leader in liver transplantation and hepatology. He leads Dr.Rela Institute & Medical Centre, India, a top liver care hospital. He is the Past President of ILTS and an Executive Council Member of iLDLT Group. He founded NFLR, a non-profit for liver health and research in India. He has performed over 6000 liver transplants, including the world record for transplantation in a 5 days old child in 1997. He runs one of India’s busiest liver transplantation programs, doing over 300 liver transplants each year. He is a prolific researcher and academician, with over 830 publications, over 16,500 citations, an H Index of 69, and over 35 book chapters. He has received over 20 International Awards & Honors for his field contributions. He is a speaker, teacher, mentor, and guide for many surgeons and researchers worldwide. He is a visionary leader and a compassionate doctor, who provides the best care for his patients and advances liver transplantation science and art.

Dr. V R Devika

Founder and Managing Trustee of The Aseema Trust
Dr. V. R. Devika, is the founder of The Aseema Trust, renowned for her adept connection of traditional performing arts and education. An esteemed art critic and educationist, she is proficient in Bharathanatyam and is widely recognized for her promotion of folk arts. Dr. Devika serves on the advisory committee for folk and tribal arts at the Sangeet Natak Academy, Government of India. She has traversed the globe and earned several awards for her contributions. Additionally, Dr. Devika has authored biographies of notable figures such as Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy and Dr. Rangabashyam. She has also collaborated on a series of English textbooks for classes 1 to 8, formerly published by Indiannica (Encyclopedia India Ltd). Dr. Devika is affiliated with Dakshinachitra, Prakriti Foundation, and mentors at Rukmini Devi Natyakshetra.

Madhunisha G

Budding Artist & Aspiring Astronaut
Madhunisha G is a eleven year old who is passionate about art and outer space. Some of her hobbies include sketching, painting and reading fiction novels. Her interest in art was ignited while watching online videos of artists painting, which led her to explore more about paintings including abstract art and its intricacies. She is also training in Carnatic music and dabbles a bit in playing the keyboard. She loves animals and playing with her pet conure, Loki, is her favourite pastime. Her ambition is to become an astronaut and get involved in space research. She also hopes to exhibit her paintings someday.

Meghna Manoj

Creative Fashionista & Music Enthusiast
Meghna Manoj is a lively and fun-loving teenager who enjoys adventure and has a keen sense of style. She is a big fan of music and infuses her daily life with a mix of playfulness and sophistication. Meghna, an adventurous soul, embraces each day as a new and exciting journey. She loves exploration and creativity, which she expresses through her unique fashion choices and the music she enjoys. She adds a touch of distinctiveness to everything she does. Dancing through life with a cheerful spirit, Meghna, whose name signifies the Princess of the Clouds, embraces adventures that go beyond the ordinary.

Mr R Gopu

Co-founder of Varahamihira Science Forum
R Gopu, a Madras native, studied computer engineering and was a software engineer, at Microsoft, Seattle. Bored of software, he acquired a taste in history and heritage. A volunteer for Tamil Heritage Trust, he has delivered several lectures on heritage about Mamallapuram, Kanchipuram, Cholas, Pandyas, Orissa etc. His essays have been published by the Week, Swarjaya, New Indian Express. He co-founded Varahamihira Science Forum, which organises talks and workshops on science in Madras. He teaches courses on Temple Heritage and Indian Astronomy at Saveetha Engineering College. He has also spoken at Kashi Tamil Sangamam and CSIR’s seminar on Traditional Indian Knowledge systems in New Delhi.

Mr Sesha Sai M

Founder of Farm Guru, Honorary Consul General for Seychelles
Sesha Sai. M. is a trailblazer, introducing bubble-top canned water to Chennai in 1994 and later collaborating with Coca-Cola to establish Asia's largest mineral water factory in 2003. Recognized as India's top Nokia phone distributor in 2009, he then shared expertise as a Professor from 2012 to 2015. Founder of "Farm Guru," enlightening urban children about agriculture. A distinguished figure in Round Table India, twice honoured as Best Rotarian and Secretary for Rotary Club of Madras. Elevated to Honorary Consul General for Seychelles, now Consular Corps Diplomatic Secretary General. Outstanding leadership as District Rotaract Committee Chairman, overseeing 27,000 youth members across eight nations.

Rishi Janardhanan

Budding Musician & Passionate Performer
Rishi Janardhanan is a young and enthusiastic 10th grader who is always exhilarated to learn more and explore the plethora of different facets of life. He feels at home on the stage, where he performs with passion, uplifting his spirit and shining light on something that connects with him deeply—music. Music serves as the medium through which Rishi expresses his emotions, resonating with his soul during times of adversity and joy alike. He is a fairly adept guitarist, who engages in jams to diverse songs and relishes the art of composing music. Rishi is an ailurophile, a cat lover, who finds joy and companionship in the presence of his four feline friends.

Vanshika Venkatesan is a vibrant 6th grader and an ardent lover of books. She volunteers in a lending library because of her passion for reading. She also has a great interest in music and learns to play the veena, a traditional string instrument. She is an avid traveller who likes to explore and learn new things in life. She enjoys connecting with people and has a keen interest in politics and public affairs. She has become the person she is now because of her positive, independent, brave, and never-giving-up personality.
