In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Miss Toto

Drag Sensation | Body Builder | Shark Tagger

Ms. Toto is a drag sensation who doubles as a bodybuilder, triples as a DJ, and quadruples as a shark tagger. Miss Toto is 27 and lives in Chicago, IL but started drag in Miami. Outside of being a drag queen, she has taken her passion for philanthropy to raise tens of thousands of dollars for the BLM movement. Miss Toto started drag in college while studying marine biology. She has hosted “Drag 'N Tag” events in Miami where she brings scientists out to sea to tag sharks.

Sara Seyed

Actor | Writer | Human Rights Lawyer and Activist

Sara Seyed is an actor, writer, producer, activist, and prior international lawyer specializing in human rights law, feminist legal theory, and children's rights. Formerly based in London, she has worked extensively on addressing sexual violence, human trafficking, and Iran’s death penalty cases with organizations such as Amnesty International and the International Bar Association. Having completed a residency at the Moscow Art Theatre and the American Repertory, Sara graduated from Harvard University in 2018. Her talent and dedication have led her to work alongside Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actors in a range of feature films and notable television shows on platforms like Netflix, Apple TV, Paramount, and Hulu. Since the launch of Iran's 2022 Woman|Life|Freedom movement, Sara's voice has served among the most inclusive, informative, and inspiring ones in support of her people, the people of Iran.
