Brian Deng is from Wenzhou, China, but was born in Prato, Italy. He speaks English, Italian, and Chinese. Some of his hobbies are watching football and kickboxing. Brian will be entering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in September 2024 as an 11th grade high school student.

Giacomo Sproccati
Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Giacomo earned a dual undergraduate degree in Communications at the University of Milan and John Cabot University in Rome. After graduating with honors, he attended California State University, Long Beach in the graduate program in Italian studies and Rhetoric. Upon earning his M.A., Giacomo returned to Italy and joined Florida State University (FSU) in Florence as an administrator and faculty member. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Professional Communication via Minnesota State University, Mankato online. Giacomo now teaches public speaking at FSU, and in his free time he enjoys sports including surfing, dancing hip-hop and running.
Martha Rook
Born in Florence, since a very young age Martha Rook enjoyed losing herself in music, singing, playing and composing. Today she is a singer, specializing in early music, with a particular interest in the secular repertoire of the Renaissance. Martha is a founding member of young ensembles PassiSparsi and Dulcedo Ardens. She is constantly researching theatrical and expressive approaches to performance and finding new ways to communicate early repertoire to contemporary audiences.
