This TEDx event intends to celebrate the power of revolutionary ideas, showcase stories of strength and resilience, explore digital renaissance and amplify voices of innovation that have the potential to transform our world. In an ever-evolving society, this event shares ground-breaking concepts and thought-provoking perspectives that challenge conventional norms and ignite positive change.

Camilla Casalboni

Italian student on AFS Exchange Programme in India

Camilla is an Italian student currently on an AFS exchange programme at SSVM Institutions in Coimbatore. She is fascinated by everything around her but has a particular dedication towards humanities. Camilla finds Literature classes the most interesting ones and always enjoys history classes as well. She is enrolled in Art High School in Italy and has been involved for four years in studying and performing arts. Camilla is now sixteen years old and is full of questions that need to be answered. Along with her many curiosities mixing the subjects is a fundamental factor for Camilla to connect with lifelong learning.

Charles Sylvestre Sai Jean

Student - SSVM Residential School Mettupalayam

Charles is a Grade 11 student at SSVM Mettupalayam. He loves seizing opportunities whenever he comes across them and has a passion for fashion and the arts. Charles is also interested in yoga and dance. He values integrity and always strives to bring order to his surroundings. He aims to leave a lasting impact on the people around him and enjoys helping others and ensuring their well-being. He has demonstrated his talent in public speaking, painting, cooking, and theatre. Charles aspires to become a fashion designer.

R. Chavi is a grade 12 student studying at SSVM World School. She possesses excellent oratorical skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills. Furthermore, she is particularly enthusiastic about theatre art. Her interests and hobbies include dancing and listening to music.

Gaurav Easwaramoorthy

Student - Shiv Nadar University

Gaurav Easwaramoorthy, an alumnus of SSVM World School, is pursuing an Economics and Finance degree at Shiv Nadar University. He is a recipient of the Dean's List for his academic excellence. Gaurav has worked in strategy and operations directly under founders in multiple YCombinator-backed health-tech and fin-tech startups. Outwardly obedient, inwardly defiant. His exceptional potential has garnered global recognition, earning him a spot among the 45 ideas globally selected for incubation at UNLEASH Plus Accelerator.

Kalaisakana K

Student - SSVM World School, Coimbatore

Kalaisakana. K is an 11th-grade student at SSVM World School. She is an expressive public speaker in both Tamil and English languages. Kalaisakana. K has actively participated in numerous competitions and events related to public speaking and writing, which have given her valuable experiences and motivation to help transform lives. Additionally, she is a skilled classical dancer and a Carnatic singer.

Komal Dass

Educator - Ruh Continuum School, Coimbatore

Komal Dass is a people's person, someone who can be counted on as a 3AM friend and a mentor for children of all ages. As a trained IB professional, she actively seeks opportunities to positively engage with and improve the culture to enhance children's learning. Leading by example has always been her life mantra. Komal believes in the importance of hard work, perseverance, and creativity, understanding that each individual is different and that "one size does not fit all."

Lakshith B.R

Student - Reeds World School, Coimbatore

Lakshith is a 12th-grade student at REEDS World School. Lakshith produces music and is a songwriter. His works mainly focus on the unnoticed subjects of life that play huge roles in our lives. Passionate about guitar, he performs in many live shows and feats in and around the city. His love for acoustic music comes along with a flavour of acoustic guitar in his songs. He is an ardent fan of books and world cinema. When asked about the source of all his knowledge on the mentioned subjects, Lakshith points to Social Media, which brings us to the title of his TEDx talk, ‘INFLUENCE OF SOCIAL MEDIA.’

Narain D. Sreekanth

Medical Student -Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital

Narain.D.Sreekanth, an alumnus of Reeds World School, is currently a 3rd Year Medical Student studying at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital. He is also an avid filmmaker and photographer. Narain is here to share his insights after pursuing the art of medicine for the past three years and some of the lessons learned along the way, In a field that requires one to be a student for life.

Pramod Sharma

Educationist - President IPSC Trust, Member NABET

Pramod Sharma is the Vice President of Genesis Global School in Noida, known as a highly experienced and respected school leader in India. He has played a vital role in developing prestigious private boarding schools to international standards. With a postgraduate degree in Chemistry, Mr. Sharma began his career as a teacher at The Doon School in 1972. Before working as the principal of the prestigious Mayo college, he worked in Afghanistan and Nigeria in addition to his various leadership positions in schools across India. He received accolades such as the Lifetime Achievement Award from the IPSC and the National Award for Teachers. Currently, he serves as the President of the IPSC Trust and is a board member of NABET- Quality Council of India.

Associate Professor - CMS College Coimbatore

Dr S. Ranjitha, M.C.A, M.Phil., M.B.A, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science, is an Associate Professor at CMS College of Science and Commerce. Dr Ranjitha has seventeen years of teaching and research experience. Dr Ranjitha is known for publishing articles in various national and international journals and has also participated in international conferences. In her free time, she enjoys reading and is passionate about dancing. Additionally, Dr Ranjitha has a talent for mural paintings.

Sangeeta Chetan

Entrepreneur, Jeweller, Gemologist,Orator, Poet, Singer, Polyglot

Sangeeta Chetan is a highly accomplished woman with a degree in economics honours from the University of Delhi. She is the CEO, director, and co-founder of Zaveri Bros Diamonds & Gold in Coimbatore. Sangeeta is renowned for her pioneering work organising jewellery exhibitions in India and abroad, with more than 100 solo exhibitions. As a fifth-generation jeweller, gemologist, and designer, she specialises in salvaging and revamping old jewellery while preserving its sentimental value. Sangeeta is also a skilled orator, moderator, poet, singer, and polyglot who speaks six languages. She has held prestigious positions in various organisations and continues to prioritise learning and education throughout her life.

Educator - SSVM School of Excellence, Coimbatore

A mathematics topper at school level and receiving the best teacher award for excellent academic contribution from Puthiya Thalaimurai news channel and Tamil Nadu teachers’ association as well as presiding over a youth function at G V C women's college as a young achiever, Ms Sangeetha exhibits her passion for excellence in whatever she does. As an inspirational mentor she partakes as much joy in the transformational journey of her students as she does in their achievements. However, her most challenging and utmost priority is the role she plays as a new age parent, doting on her two wonderful teenage daughters.

Shilpa Sreedhar

Educator, Poet - Ruh Continuum School, Coimbatore

Ms. Shilpa Sreedhar is a trained IELTS instructor from the British Council, Bahrain. She is an experienced English educator, teaching English language and literature in the Cambridge and American curricula. She is a Cambridge Assessment Specialist from Cambridge Assessment International Education, UK. She is also the published author of a book named 'Evoke Your Emotions'. This is her first book, which focuses on her beautiful creative poems, and she has won the 21st Century Emily Dickson Award from the UK for the same. She is currently an English educator at Ruh Continuum School. She chose to be a teacher to kindle change and spark the right blend of innovation and values in young minds, besides deriving immense pride and pleasure from facilitating learning. Ms. Shilpa is a voracious reader across all genres. She also has a flair for writing poems, stories, and articles in English.

Shwetha Subash is currently an educator at Ruh Early Years. She enjoys her role as a mentor and learner. Her university education in health sciences adds an essential dimension to what she brings to the table. Her life experiences, and exposure have recalibrated and heavily inspired her to get diligently involved in early education. She is gratefully imbibing many precious ideologies and educational practices that enhance her practice. A firm believer in the adage that learning never stops, she is committed to her books and the idea of being a lifelong learner.

Srisha Mohandoss

Eduprenuer, Philanthropist, Clean India Mission Ambassodor

Ms Srisha Mohandoss is the Co-Founder of Ruh Early Years and Director of Education at SSVM Institutions. With an M.Ed. in International Education from the University of Sydney and a B.Com in Entrepreneurship from the University of British Columbia, she is an award-winning educational leader and social entrepreneur. Ms Mohandoss is passionate about ecological sustainability and social entrepreneurship education for K-12 students. She builds self-confidence and lasting relationships with children through fun and creative experiences, encouraging them to dream big and thrive in sustainable communities. Dedicated to empowering young girls and telling impactful stories, she also facilitates discussions to shape the future of education for a better world. As a Clean India Mission Ambassador, she advocates for social responsibility and positive outcomes for people and the environment.
