At the university, Mr. Kurian made history by becoming the President of the Student Body and Head of the Student Government Association (GU-Q SGA) of Georgetown University in Qatar, making the first instance of an Indian student assuming such a role. His leadership extended to the global stage as he served as the Secretary General of the Georgetown Model United Nations during which BPS won its first honorable mention at the XVIII GMUN Conference. Mr. Kurian’s academic pursuits culminated in his graduation from the University, in May 2023, with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, majoring in International History.

Prior to joining IOM, Mr. Nair was a Migration and Multilateral Specialist for the International Labour Organization (ILO) with postings in Geneva, the UN Headquarters in New York, and at ILO’s regional office in New Delhi covering South Asia.
