Theme: Path to Possibilities

Our lives are often unpredictable, and our theme “Path to Possibilities” implies that we, as individuals, should always be adaptable and optimistic about change, have a sense of optimism, and have a willingness to embrace change and explore new horizons.

"Path to Possibilities” puts great emphasis on adjusting to one’s course, stepping out of your comfort zone, and exploring new horizons. It emphasizes the journey towards innovation, self-discovery, progress, and inspiration.

The true aim of "Path to Possibilities" is to inspire us to take charge of our lives and to seek out and create opportunities for ourselves rather than waiting for them to present themselves. It instils motivation by showing us that we can achieve success with a little bit of resiliency, flexibility, and self-belief.

Our speakers share stories and convey message relating to overcoming obstacles and grabbing opportunities and emphasize the power of human imagination and self-belief in laying the foundations for a brighter future.
With this, we hope to broaden your perspectives, inspire everyone to always be curious, and accept the many possible pathways to a bright and hopeful future.

Mr. Benjamin Kurian

International Politics and Foreign Services Graduate, Georgetown University at Qatar

Benjamin Kurian is a distinguished alumnus of Birla Public School, Qatar, where he graduated in 2019. His academic journey led him to the Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where he achieved remarkable milestones. At the university, Mr. Kurian made history by becoming the President of the Student Body and Head of the Student Government Association (GU-Q SGA) of Georgetown University in Qatar, making the first instance of an Indian student assuming such a role. His leadership extended to the global stage as he served as the Secretary General of the Georgetown Model United Nations during which BPS won its first honorable mention at the XVIII GMUN Conference. Mr. Kurian’s academic pursuits culminated in his graduation from the University, in May 2023, with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, majoring in International History.

Mr. Shabarinath Nair

Head of the Migration Management Unit and Senior Migration Management Officer at United Nations International Organization for Migration, Qatar

Mr. Shabari Nair, a seasoned professional, has recently joined the United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM) office in Qatar, as Head of the Migration Management Unit and Senior Migration Management Officer. Mr. Nair brings to IOM over 15 years of international experience working with various UN agencies, governments, and civil society. Prior to joining IOM, Mr. Nair was a Migration and Multilateral Specialist for the International Labour Organization (ILO) with postings in Geneva, the UN Headquarters in New York, and at ILO’s regional office in New Delhi covering South Asia.

Ms. Nora Rose Jacob

As a child of 3, she marked the inception of a remarkable journey of innate talent for public speaking, planting the seeds of a promising future. Nora has a remarkable record of accomplishments and achievements, having earned numerous accolades in various school and independent organization competitions, including essay writing, story writing, elocutions, debates, poem recitation, and singing.
