Dr. Anil Challa

Senior Scientist, Department of Life Sciences SNU

Dr. Anil Challa is a senior scientist in the Department of Life Sciences at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Delhi. After attaining his phD degree in molecular genetics, Dr. Anil co founded a biotechnology company and established the zebrafish facility to support research in drug discovery and testing. Further, he adeptly initiated in vivo gene manipulation using TALEN and CRISPR technologies. He continues to serve as an Adjunct Professor of Biology in the University of Alabama, Birmingham.

Rhapsody currently reaches over 477 schools in South India as the first in-curriculum Art Integration and Creative Intelligence program. As a philanthropist and changemaker, he is an Aspen Global Leader and has been involved in various community initiatives and active social work. With direction credits in shows like Whistleblower, Saad Bahu aur Flamingo and Lust Stories 2, she’s managed to climb the steep hierarchical industry ladder in a very short span of time. Having directed 2 seasons of a non fiction reality talk show with the stalwarts of the film industry, music videos and a bunch of advertisements, Umang has made her presence felt with her energy and enthusiasm. Charismatic, unafraid to speak her mind and unabashedly true to herself, Umang believes that hard work has no substitute!
