I pursued engineering in Computer Science and landed job in an MNC but I was not satisfied with the way things were moving for me and wanted to serve society so that's when joined social work. I had a niche for learning and wanted to explore more. Over the course of time I enrolled in Master’s in Social work, PGDRM, and further went on completing my Ph. D. in the field of child protection. The issue of child labor always bothered me a little more than other. I decided to help the children trapped in the cycle of child labor and in 13 years of my working for the children a total of 4637 children have been freed from the shackles of child labor. Through my NGO, Gayatri Seva Sansthan we are currently imparting free education to 9120 tribal out of school children through a total of 304 Free Learning Education Centers. In the last decade, more than 10,000 tribal children were mainstreamed to formal education through our efforts."
