I am optimistic, diligent, and never give up .I like to challenge different things. I love mountain hiking, watching the stars at night, and other activities close to nature. Hi :D My name’s Maria. I’m in my junior year of high school (pray for me), and I come from Manila, Philippines. I love reading, writing, singing, listening to music, and performing on stage either in plays or school concerts. I’ve lived in a lot of different places growing up, and decided to make that the focus of my talk. This is my first time speaking to a crowd larger than 20 people. Hope you like it!

"Going through the unexpected and turbulent first one and a half years of my hich school, I became a homeschooling student and went on a completely different road of learning than the past ten years.
These years, with sensitive perception and crativity, I have been good at empathizing others' emotion as well as perceiving little changes around, wich made me come up with not merely a variety of distinctive opinions but also the thought of making some small changes to the society by using those of my capabilities.
Since often being thought strange, that all of our uniques can be accepted and every different person can get along well on the earth are my hope and also the goals which I would surely take effort on.
Keep dreaming and keep going with you and me!"

"I'm Jessica, and I'm just your average imaginative teenager. Right now, I'm in my second year of high school.😆
Chatting it up with folks and being part of a lively crowd. It's where the magic happens, where ideas flow, and connections are made.
But you know what's even more important? Learning to love myself.🥰
Let me share a little secret with you—I've got a dream. I want to do something big, something that'll make the world a better place. My mission? To lend a hand to those who need it most. I'm determined to leave my mark and be the change I wish to see. 💪
So, remember my name, Jessica, because you just might see it pop up in some pretty cool places one day. 😉🌟"
