Alicia Medina
Student
Alicia Medina is a freshman at Ransom Everglades School. Alicia plays varsity golf and lacrosse and is a member of the ASL and Poetry Club. She loves to play and create music on instruments like the piano, viola, guitar, and more. In addition, she has led the local chapter of the nonprofit organization, Hungry For Music, here in Miami for over 5 years.
Eliza Arnold

Eliza Arnold is a junior at Ransom Everglades School in Miami, Florida, which she has been attending since 6th grade. She is involved in the yearbook, Ransom Everglades’s sustainable fashion magazine, and the school newspaper. She has always had a passion for fashion and is very specifically interested in journalism and sustainability. Eliza loves animals and going to the beach. She enjoys reading and finding new ways to express herself through clothing.
Liv Steinhardt
Student
As a documentary director, film critic for her school’s newspaper and founder of a marketing and distribution organization for teenage directors, Liv Steinhardt has a passion for all things film and media. She believes that filmmaking is the most powerful form of storytelling, and is excited to enroll in New York University’s Cinema Studies program in the fall. Until then, you can find Liv enjoying her time left as a senior at Ransom Everglades School or watching old Bette Davis movies.
Lucas Lippey
Student
Lucas Lippey is a sophomore at Ransom Everglades School in Miami, Florida. He is passionate about American and international policy, conflict resolution, and sustainability. During the summer of 2022, Lucas was fortunate enough to intern with the office of Congressman David Cicilline of Rhode Island and discovered a newfound interest in youth activism. In addition, Lucas is an avid sailor, plays guitar, and Scuba dives with his dad in his spare time.
Skye McPhillips
Student
Skye McPhillips is a junior at Ransom Everglades who has spent the past three years exploring wellness and her own spirituality. Skye leads women’s circles at a local yoga studio and enjoys practicing yoga and meditation. She will be sharing her methods and tools that have helped her strengthen her sense of self and create a balanced and fulfilled life.
Sophia Romanov-Imber
Student
Sophia Romanov-Imber is a junior at Ransom Everglades. She is interested in political science, ethics, and English. Sophia is the Assistant Editor for Inklings, the literary magazine at RE. In 2022, one of her works was published as part of the Oxford Academia Creative Writing Program. In the same year, her photography received an Honorable Mention from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
