David Mc Cauley

Climate Change and Environmental Policy Specialist

David McCauley is a climate change and environmental policy specialist who previously led climate change programs for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila and was Senior Vice President for policy, climate change and partnerships at the US World Wildlife Fund (WWF). He currently advises numerous public and private institutions on policies and investments needed to tackle the causes and consequences of climate change and in response to the accelerating degradation of ecosystems, including serving as Co-Chair of the Independent Expert Group for the Nature, People and Climate Program of the Climate Investment Funds. Before his work with ADB and WWF, Dr. McCauley lived and worked in the Asia and Pacific region, including through positions with the US Agency for International Development, the Ford Foundation and Harvard University.

Today, she works mainly on atypical and unconventional sexuality and accompanying transgender people, grows orchids, reads essays and poems, shares her life with two dogs, and deconstructs stereotypes on social media and wherever they give her a microphone. Among other things, she dreamed of a TEDx, and now she has got it.

Federica Dell'Orto

Lawyer in International Law and Human Rights

Federica Dell'Orto is a New York-based attorney specialising in international, human rights, and immigration law. For years, she has represented clients in court during asylum and removal proceedings, encompassing all levels of appeals. She has an international legal education background, having obtained her JD from the University of Milan, focusing on EU and International Law. Subsequently, she completed an LL.M. in Public International Law in Los Angeles. Ms. Federica served as the Chair of the International Law Section of the Federal Bar Association - currently, she holds the position of Past Chair. Furthermore, she represents the Federal Bar at the United Nations through the Association's consultative status. Federica periodically publishes articles in multiple legal journals, discussing the latest developments in the field of International, Human Rights, and Immigration Law.

Winner of the Polimoda Talent Program, Gaia has previously worked for companies such as Ferragamo Parfums, L'Oréal Group, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, Biotherm and Helena Rubinstein. After taking part in the pre-acceleration course with Bocconi and the Hubble acceleration programme, Gaia is now a young entrepreneur and founder of Menabòh, an all-female innovative start-up committed to reducing waste in the fashion industry without, however, sacrificing style.

Irene Volpe

Personal Chef and Content Creator

Born in Rome in '98, Irene graduated in Design in 2020 at the ISIA in Rome. After lockdown, following a personal problem with eating disorders, Irene pursued her passion for cooking, participating in Masterchef Italia 10 and reaching the final. After her experience on TV, she continued her cooking training directly in the field at restaurants - to name but one, Enrico Bartolini's restaurant at Mudec - and then turned her cooking more and more to vegetables, with an eye to sustainability and emotions. In addition to continuing her website and her content on Instagram, Irene embarked on a path as a personal chef, working alongside Marco Bizzarri (Gucci's CEO President) for a year. Currently, to better express her idea of cooking, Irene works as a home chef and has set up the 'Irene on tour' project - a series of events where she cooks in various restaurants in Italy, making her delicacies known.

Lorenzo Lucii

Artist, Cooperativa Made in Sipario

Born and raised in Florence, Lorenzo is an artist of the Cooperativa Made in Sipario Onlus and has an intellectual disability. Following the end of high school, entering the world of work was not entirely easy for him. Fortunately, Lorenzo now has a work situation that is ideal for him, the perfect place to use his talents. Before then, he worked as a cook and presenter on a private TV station - Sipario TV. Lorenzo has a remarkable ability to learn languages and has excellent memory skills; he knows all the capitals of the earth, and although he has struggled to find his place in the world, he now has it and wants to tell about it.
