Miruna Neamu
Student
I am Miruna Neamu and I'm an 11th grader at “I. L. Caragiale” National High School in Bucharest. I am incredibly passionate about finance and one of my main focuses is raising awareness about the lack of financial literacy. Hence, I have co-founded the FeminEast Association, which aims to make economic education accessible to everyone, especially to women in Eastern Europe. With this in mind, my speech will go along the lines of why you need financial literacy, the effects of not benefiting from it, and how to gain it. Moreover, I will talk about my experience with self-teaching economics and the obstacles girls have to overcome while learning about finance. See you there!
