Alex Castilho Neagoe Daniel

Alex Castilho Neagoe Daniel is a 14-year-old boy from Luxembourg and has been attending the International School of Luxembourg for 11 years. During his time there, he has found interest in the sciences, like chemistry and physics. Alex is a voracious reader, and his extracurricular activities include swimming, playing theatre and playing music, for which he plays two instruments, the piano and the saxophone. Lately he became interested in Law and is passionate about the Media as well.

After a decade structuring large international financial transactions, Barbara answered the call of her true purpose: creating connections by putting words to work. She loves to try new ideas that challenge the status quo to support her differentiating communications initiatives. Since 2012 Bárbara has lead teams of professionals with a wide range of responsibilities in the areas of communications and brand management, and she is ING’s company secretary in Luxembourg. Bárbara strongly believes banking and finance should not be a mystery to anyone, irrelevant of their background or current occupation. Whenever she can, she volunteers to demystify finance and money management for youngsters across Luxembourg.

Chanukya Patnaik

Chanukya is an entrepreneur who started AI Planet to make secure, and safe AI accessible to everyone. AI Planet is part of fit4start Luxinnovation and based in Luxembourg City Incubator / House of Startups. Chanukya is also on the advisory boards of AI Business School and Global AI Hub. He is also part of Belgium's 40under40 and previously delivered a talk at TEDx Luxembourg CityED. He is an advocate of responsible and safe usage of AI. His passion lies in technology, education, and fostering communities to address pressing global challenges and pave the way for a brighter future.

Emanuele Santi

Social Entrepreneur

Emanuele Santi is a social entrepreneur, and founder of Riding the Rainbow, a global solidarity app combing circular economy and social integration of refugees and other vulnerable people. By enabling people to donate preloved items such as bikes, sport gears, books, toy, directly to refugees, the app encourage people to meet, provide help, compassion and precious advice on refugee integration jounrey. The app also integrates notifications on solidarity events and volunteering opportunities, and into a virtual solidarity hub for people who want to make a difference. Prior to launching the app, Emanuele spent two decades working on developing countries with various development finance institutions, advising funders and managing an impact fund. He is the co-founder and president of Afrilanthropy a charity whose mission is supporting African home grown talents.

Inessa Hansen

Inessa Hansen is a student at the Athénée de Luxembourg and she is currently enrolled in the IB program. She is a 17 year old classical pianist who is currently enrolled in the Conservatoire de Luxembourg and has participated and won in competitions as well as performed a concert as the lead soloist with the Orchestra. Inessa started playing the piano at the age of 5 years old and she has developed a passion for the instrument in 2020 during the pandemic, where she also started uploading some of her playing on social media. Inessa is considering a career path in music and hopes to inspire people and grow as a pianist.

Lukasz Kwasny

Łukasz Kwaśny is a 16 year old student attending the Lycée Athénée. He comes from Warsaw, Poland and his hobbies include playing sports such as football and tennis, as well as watching movies and talking. He wishes to pursue medicinal studies and wants his speech to empower the greater public proving that each and every one of us houses a great power within.

Nasir Zubairi

With 26 years in financial services, Nasir Zubairi is a Fintech leader heading The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) Foundation. In 2022, he was honored with "Officier de l'Ordre Mérite du Grand Duché de Luxembourg" for economic contributions. Nasir, an alumnus of the London School of Economics and a Sloan Fellow from the London Business School, dedicates himself to fostering global financial growth and innovation, contributing insights to Christine Lagarde’s advisory council at the IMF and the OECD's Blockchain expert policy advisory board.

Polina Kavunenko

I'm Polina Kavunenko, a 16-year-old student at Athénée de Luxembourg who thrives on learning, personal growth, and advocating for gender equality. Beyond the books, I'm deeply involved in sports, enjoy playing the guitar and piano, and savor moments with friends and family. Additionally, I find fulfillment in teaching robotics to young children, fostering their curiosity and love for innovation. Excited to share my perspective on life at the upcoming TEDx event, where I'll explore the nuances of feminism in modern society.

I am a student in my second to last year of high school. I am interestened in many things, but my main focuses are on computer science, art, engineering and economics. I am 16 years old and come from Romania, and have an older sister who is a great role model. I hope that my speech will at the very least cause you to reflect, and maybe even change your perception of your time spent.

My name is Tiara Ernzen and I’m 18 years old. I’m a 2ième student in Athénée de Luxembourg. I’m half luxembourgish and half japanese. I always loved to express myself and perform in front of people. I found my passion for poetry and speeches in my early age but only started with slam when I was 16. My goal is to create a safe place where everyone can express themself in any form and about any topic to get a chance to be heard.

In my free time, I’m a volunteer firefighter and love writing stories, debating, and hanging out with my friends.
