TED has awarded us another license to share their signature TED event themed, "Possibility" which is scheduled for April 17-21, 2023 in Vancouver Canada. We will stream parts of the event here in Washington DC. Market rate to attend a TED conference is $10,000.00! Some of the speakers you will hear at our local event are:

In the spirit of the TED 2023 theme, we are hosting a POSSIBILITY themed idea talent night where we give the stage to individuals with little or no experience in public speaking. Coming from all walks of life they are given the opportunity to present their ideas on stage in 5 minutes to be awarded the "People's Choice" speaker of the year. During these 5 minutes they strive to convince the curation team and the audience of their TED-worthy speech. We will use an online voting system to track the progress. The winner will then get the chance to stand on the main TEDxUStreetWomen stage as the "People's Choice" Speaker of the Year. This is our first year doing this and we may consider doing this every year. We are so excited to be apart of TEDxLive!
